mmove

NAME

       mmove  - moves or renames an existing MSDOS file or subdi-
       rectory

SYNOPSIS

       mmove [ -voOsSrRA ] sourcefile targetfile

       mmove [ -voOsSrRA ] sourcefile [ sourcefiles... ]  target-
       directory

DESCRIPTION

       Mmove moves or renames an existing MSDOS file or subdirec-
       tory

       Mmove will allow the following command line option:

       v      Verbose mode.  Display the new filename if the name
              supplied is invalid.

       Additionally   it   allows   the  clash  handling  options
       described in the manpage for mtools.

       MSDOS subdirectory names are supported with either the '/'
       or  '\'  separator.  The use of the '\' separator or wild-
       cards will require the names to be enclosed in  quotes  to
       protect  them from the shell.  Unlike the MSDOS version of
       MOVE, mmove is able to move subdirectories.
